About Me
My Background
My name is Lucas M. I live in Greenville, South Carolina.
Currently, I am a freshman at a private university in Wisconsin, studying mathematics. My ultimate goal is to become an aerospace engineer. Math, calculus in particular, and science, physics in particular, are my two favorite subjects in school.
In my free time, I read issues of my subscription to Aviation Week & Space Technology, take pictures of scenery (specifically the sky), and play volleyball.
My Future
I would like to be an aerospace engineer working for an American company like NASA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, SpaceX, Boom Supersonic, Hermeus, etc.
My current plan is to do an internship, possibly at Lockheed Martin in Greenville, South Carolina, or Boeing in Charleston, South Carolina, the summer of my junior year.
Once I graduate with my bachelor’s degree, my goal is to enroll in an aerospace engineering program at Embry-Riddle, or a university with like qualifications, to earn my master’s degree. As a Christian, I believe that it is extremely important to take care of our world. I want to help the industry acheive net zero by 2050.
